Greetings to all,

As you know, there have been many Haiti relief efforts including one involving one of our friends at First UMC and father of one of the DI Band members - Mark Johnson. He is a pilot and has flown a load of supplies down there and has seen the need first hand.

Mark and Sarah Kefauver recently returned to Haiti with a small group to deliver more supplies and over 150 tents. They also worked in an orphanage and helped establish a self-sustaining farming ministry so locals can produce enough to feed themselves and reduce dependency on others.

There were many stories shared upon their return but their experience reminds us of God's word to care for those in need and to remember the great promises and blessings that God has bestowed on each of us. The Haitian people remind us that radical faith, worship and thanksgiving is possible in all situations.

Thank you for all your help, prayer and financial support. Over 500 people now have shelter and many more know the first hand love of God as a result of this effort. Praise God.

Mike Kefauver
